Winnie the Pooh and Tiger too...and Eeyore too!

Dr. Drew also ordered this Winnie the Pooh themed cake for a baby shower. We used Marshmallow Fondant on a Classic Vanilla cake with Raspberry filling. YUM!


We think it turned out very cute. Thank you!

Gorilla Feast

This cake was created for Graduate presentations in the Communication Department. We just happened to set the cake down on the table in front of this painting of a gorilla. It looks like the Gorilla is trying to eat the cake! How funny!




Thanks for the order Dr. Drew! We hope you enjoyed your cake....and that you ate it before the Gorilla got to it!

Another Artful Sweet Success

Pittsburg's Art Walk on Broadway this April was yet another sweet success for downtown Pittsburg. Di spite the road construction and the shady weather, many patrons braved the elements to come out and support the event.

Holly Kranker's artwork and display was featured in our window! It is still there if you would like to see it. But, if you can't get around the construction here are some pictures.

Prom Night

No, not one of those scary horror flicks, a REAL prom night! It was St. Mary's Colgan's Prom (that is a mouth full). We were asked to create something sweet and simple for the event held at Pittsburg's Memorial Auditorium. The delicious dinner was catered by Mr. & Mrs. Parsons, the owners of Bob's Grill & 1106 right here in Pittsburg. It all looked very yummy.


These Classic Chocolate, petite fluted cakes were topped with a dollop of Cream Cheese frosting and drizzled with delicious cherries. Thank you for letting us treat so many people with our sweets!

Sponge Bob Birthday

It was a Sponge Bob Birthday party but Spiderman wanted to play too! The cool mom that she is, Robin, ordered a Sponge Bob cake for her daughter and some Spiderman cookies for her son. Here is what we came up with (we forgot to get a picture of the cookies =( sorry).


We used Marshmallow Fondant on a square cake with a plastic figurine of Sponge Bob. We trimmed out the cake with some funky ribbon we found that had fish on it. We hope Emma enjoyed her cake and her family too. Happy Birthday Fisher, sorry we didn't get a picture of your cookies!

Gone Fishin' Anniversary

This cool fishin' hole was created for an anniversary party. Happy Anniversary Darrel & Sheila! We hope it has been an amazing 40 years and many more to come!

We used edible coffee stick cookies (what are they called?)to look like logs and dirt around the pond. The fish are SweetCake toppers and the fisher man and trees are plastic.
